Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Turrety when you create an account or connect an app.
1. The service
Turrety is a web application firewall delivered as an agent plus a hosted control plane. The agent runs inside your application and makes every allow or block decision locally. Turrety distributes rule sets, virtual patches and configuration to your agents, and receives the sampled events they report.
Because decisions are local, your application keeps enforcing the last rule set it received if Turrety is unreachable. Turrety is never in the request path of your traffic.
2. Your account
You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials and API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your organization, including actions taken with keys you created.
Organizations are owned by their owners and admins. If you leave an organization, its data stays with it.
3. Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance. Usage above your plan limits is not charged automatically: new events are sampled more aggressively until you upgrade or the next cycle starts.
You can pay by card or Pix, where offered at checkout. A card plan renews automatically until cancelled. A plan paid by Pix covers the period paid for and does not renew: you can pay the next period from 7 days before it ends, and if you do not, the organization goes back to the free plan when it ends.
Upgrades take effect at once and are charged right away, only for what is left of the current period: the difference between the two prices for the days left, or, from monthly to yearly, the year less what is left of the month already paid. Plans are not downgraded; to move to a smaller plan, cancel.
Within 7 days of buying a plan you can cancel from Billing and get back everything paid; the plan ends at once. Within 7 days of an upgrade you can undo it and get its charge back; the plan you had goes on with its own renewal date. Refunds go back the way you paid.
After those 7 days you can still cancel at any time from Billing. Cancellation then takes effect at the end of the paid period; we do not refund partial months, except where the law requires it.
4. What a WAF can and cannot do
A web application firewall reduces risk; it does not remove it. Rules can miss malicious requests and can block legitimate ones. You remain responsible for patching your dependencies, reviewing proposed rules before you publish them and testing changes in shadow mode first.
5. License to the agent
While your subscription is active, you may install and run the Turrety agent in the applications of your organization. You may not decompile, redistribute or resell it, or use it to build a competing service.
6. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, such as lost profits or lost data.
7. Changes and contact
We will announce material changes at least 30 days in advance by email and in the dashboard. Questions about these terms: [email protected].
